Carefully cultivate
Every year before the beginning of spring, the top buds and leaves of the tea trees are pruned, followed by fertilization and weeding in the tea garden to provide nutrients to the tea buds. This is so that the fresh spring tea leaves can be harvested around the Qingming Festival and produced into high-quality Yilan tea.
With the arrival of Beginning of Summer, tea gardens are irrigated with clean water from the snow-capped mountains to keep the fresh new leaves upright and growing, so that the refreshing and smooth-tasting small-leaf honey-scented black tea can be produced during summer.
The tea trees are kept during autumn to allow the buds and leaves that grow around the beginning of winter to retain their maximum energy, thus producing a refreshing, sweet, smooth and delicious high-quality winter tea.
We follow national safety standards and meticulously manage every aspect of our operations, all to ensure a delicious, authentic cup of Yilan tea.
